Detailed Description

Esmeralda County-managed hot well near Dyer, Nevada — a ~12x6 ft concrete soaking tub (~105°F) with handrails and cinder-block enclosure, fed by an artesian geothermal well drilled in the 1880s. Overflow ponds attract waterfowl beneath views of Boundary Peak. Vault toilet, fire rings, grills on site. No cell service. County warns vandalism could force permanent closure. Endangered Fish Lake Valley tui chub lives in valley waters.
