We collect non-personally identifiable browser analytics (such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and duration of visit) to optimize site performance and user experience.

3. Cookies & Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use third-party advertising companies, including Google AdSense, to serve ads when you visit our website. 5. Third-Party Processors & Outbound Services

A few site features route limited data through third-party services: the contact form and the "report conditions" form on spring pages are delivered by FormSubmit (the details you enter — including your email if you choose to share it — are sent to them for delivery); the city/ZIP search queries Photon (Komoot's OpenStreetMap geocoder) with the text you type; lodging links route through Stay22 to accommodation booking providers, and accommodation maps load from Stay22 (see the disclosure beside each recommendation). Stay22 and booking providers receive normal browser request data when these features load or you follow a link. Our lodging campaign tags contain only public destination IDs and page information; and map tiles load from third-party tile providers when you open a map. GPS coordinates from the "Near Me" feature are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to us or any third party.

You may request deletion of any personal information you have submitted (for example, a contact-form message) by emailing us; we retain correspondence only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry.
