Detailed Description

Geothermal sulfur springs at the base of Little Mountain near UT-83 northwest of Corinne, feeding three cement soaking tubs (~108-113°F). Extremely mineralized with a powerful hydrogen-sulfide 'rotten egg' odor — the source of the name. On private land; owner has historically allowed free access. NOTE: in Utah, not California. Source scalding (~124°F); intense H2S gas — a bathhouse was demolished after a death involving trapped gas. Private land — access could end.
