Revived 20-room high-desert hot springs hotel an hour east of San Diego on Old Hwy 80, once a hideaway for Clark Gable and Marlene Dietrich — reopened 2023-24 with three mineral pools (Ritual, Solstice, Echo Room), a restored bathhouse music venue and spring-fed Jacumba Lake. Public pool passes ~$20-50; pools are adults 21+.
