Detailed Description
Large rock-walled soaking pool on the bank of the lower Owyhee River — 190°F source water flows ~300 ft down a channel and mixes with river water creating a gradient across the pool. BLM day-use site with vault toilet and picnic area — one of the best free soaks in eastern Oregon. Inflow channel is SCALDING — enter slowly. Pool submerges during spring runoff. Day use only.
