Historic mineral springs resort in the Columbia River Gorge ~1 hr from Portland (former Moffett's Hot Springs, 1881) — closed to the public in 2016 and REOPENED Feb 2025 after a $4M renovation. Indoor mineral pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, full spa, restaurant and restored forest trails. A separate property from Carson Hot Springs 11 mi east. Fee: Overnight resort; verify current pool day-use policy. Recently reopened (Feb 2025) — amenities still ramping up; confirm day-use availability.
